*sigh* they are commands that will likely work for many years to come, but
no guarantees.  (take the <font> tag for example it has been deprecated with
the preferred method being style sheets and classes.  HTML is being
deprecated and XML will be used in its place.  Its considered obsolete but
still usable.  Its kind of like saying "the date is expired on that milk
better smell it before you take a drink"
