FYI: Just submitted this as a bug to Allaire and thought I would post it to the list in the interests of sharing information in the community. This problem plauged me for a couple hours on Friday until I finally tracked down the cause. This bug affects CF 4.5 and 4.5.1 Gold for NT (maybe others, these are the only ones I tested). Article 14020 Submitted for addition: The Bright Tiger services require anonymous access to all websites in the cluster or it will be unable to gather load data correctly. Details: Encountered this problem after following the above mentioned KB article and found that the btauxdir virtual directories are being created, but Cluster Cats cannot read the performance data correctly and thus moves the server load of each machine in the cluster to 100% when there is no load on the server at all. Allowing anonymous access to the clustered websites fixes the error.
