Summary:
This was a long 
overdue project, which was aimed at promoting the company as a niche player in the 
Internet technologies. It has four basic interfaces namely Employees, clients, 
Webmaster & Knowledge base. ASP was used for the generation of all dynamic pages. IIS 
was the web server. Components created using COM specification using VB 6.0 were 
implemented on MTS.MS-SQL was the database used.
The first interface is aimed at 
better communications between the employees within the organization & between 
employees and the organization. This includes but not limited to applying leaves, 
checking their leave status, exchange of ideas between peers� etc. A user id is given 
and password is automatically generated which facilitates the employee to communicate 
with the company from anywhere in the world.
The second interface is the clients�. A 
new client can know in detail about the company and can do business with the company 
on the net. An existing client can know the latest developments of his project and any 
suggestions can be passed on. The database is continuously updated about the on going 
projects.
The third interface is to position the company in the minds of budding 
programmers and existing programmers� minds as a competitive player in the Internet & 
aligned technologies. For this purpose a knowledge base is created and continuously 
updated. From around the world programmers� can exchange ideas and can review latest 
developments in the net. They can also check their existing knowledge from time to 
time.
For this purpose a question bank is created in the database and randomly 
selected questions will be flashed on the screen.
The Webmaster interface is about 
maintaining and updating the database and providing the four security levels 
accordingly.

Summary:
Surf ad is a new 
Internet Advertising company, as it is the meeting place for the advertisers, 
webmasters and the surfers. This company delivers highly targeted banners to its 
members. It pays you to Surf.
Four interfaces to this site are Advertiser, Webmaster, 
End user and Administrator. Various functionalities are provided for each. Strict 
security levels are provided. A banner-advertising component is created with the help 
of Active-X component in VB 6.0, which includes no. of  API calls, interaction with 
IIS 4.0 and checking for relevant protocols like TCP/IP, mouse status.
HTML is used to 
generate forms. JavaScript and VB Script are used for validation in client and server 
side. CSS file is also used. IIS 4.0 is the web server, ODBC is used for database 
connectivity and MS-SQL is used as database. ASP is done using Visual inter-Dev. 
Modular design is followed which takes re-usable code in include files and restricts 
database query to minimum. Business logic like cash calculator model, unique ID 
generation is achieved using stored procedures. A CDONTS mail component is also used 
for e-mail system. Ad Rotator, Content linking components is also used. Flat files are 
used to store user preference of banners.

seeks to provide a list of voluntary blood donors with their blood groups. A list of 
donors with their specialization and a list of blood banks and hospitals for any city. 
The site provides a search engine, which enables individuals to search for donors as 
per city and blood back and hospital as per city. The general wing on the site enables 
any person to contact the company for suggestions and Medicare wing on site provides 
various medical information which is useful to the users it also gives links to other 
sites for information


A thirty-day training program was conducted on Internet &

Freedom � X 1.0 is a central 
excise management product for the companies. This was developed in VB 5.0. It was 
primarily a single user product, which was meant to be for the PC. This also needed 
some changes in the product as the govt. has changed certain laws pertaining to 
excise. So the product was redeveloped using COM specification in VB 6.0 for all the 
objects, so that any future changes would be easier. It was provided multi-user 
facility and can be implemented on a network. New Active-X controls like date tools & 
extendable timers were used to make the basic interface more user friendly

The project 
aims in aiding the management in controlling the inventory process. Its role is proper 
scheduling of requirements by fixing maximum, minimum and recording level of stock. 
The system accepts the details of materials and validates the entries automatically 
generating the Material Requisition Order.
        Operation of stores is to control 
the issues and receipts, deliver the material upon requisition to the department in 
the right amount, at the time needed. Delivery challan of goods against sales order 
and receipts of goods against sales order and receipts of goods against corresponding 
purchased, issued from the stock, inventory, suppliers reports are generated by the 
system.

Commercial Product of Teamtec � Freedom � X 1.0

Summary:
Freedom � X 1.0 is a central excise management product for the companies� 
filling their excise records to the govt. Before this product the total process use to 
be very complex and needed experts in the area to handled the job. This was never 
computerized because of the constant changes in the excise rules. For Teamtec it was a 
challenge.
The total project was divided into four modules. Raw Material module takes 
care of the purchases and their equivalent production and their duties. Capital goods 
module takes care of the inflow of capital goods and the duty paid on them. Final 
products module takes care of the production and the sale of goods and the taxes 
levied on them. 
The final module calculates the amount of modvat credit available in 
all the accounts and the amount of duty required. In the amount is �ve the back 
account is credited else the appropriate account of RG 23 A � partII or RG 23 C � 
partII is credited. The system takes care that no invoice is issued without sufficient 
duty credit.
