If you wish to use VFP for your COM objects it works great. The book Larry
talks about was very good and helped us get ours working. We wrote a whole
application based on COM objects with a CF front end. Our CF form runs on 1
server, our COM objects run on a different server and the data is on a third
SQL server.

One of the big advantages we ran into was that we could use the power of VFP
to manipulate the data (i.e. apply business rules). All we had to worry
about in CF was formatting and displaying the dynamic data to the user.
