I have three dev machines (CF 4.01 on NT4 SP5, CF4.5 on WinNT4 SP5 and CF4.5
on Win2k - all with MDAC 2.5).
All three have MSSQL7 installed and are connecting to Access97, Access2000
and SQLServer7 datasources without any problems, without having Access 97 or
Access2k installed.
To run Access2k all you should need is the latest and greatest MDAC drivers.
I haven't seen any problems with any conflicts between Access 97 or 2k, and
MSSQL7 (other than the fact the Access doesn't seem to handle multiple query
statements in a single cfquery call)

And you cannot run SQL Server 7 on the same machine (I'm told)
Which is why I don't offer Access 2000.
