In my experience, being able to connect via SQLPlus doesn't mean very much,
since it uses a different connection mechanism. Unfortunately, I don't have
enough information to tell where you might have made a mistake. How did you
set up the connection in Net8? Are you using a listener, or net service
names, or another option?
