I'm having similar problems atm, my application is/was intranet based, and
now management think its a great idea to let the world and his dog see it,
cool you'd think, but our firewall makes Noah look old, and passing ODBC or
SQLnet through it seems to be an art that requires Indiana Jones and a cast
of thousands to solve, fortunately its not really my problem as the firewall
is an MIS function, however its a pain in the backside for someone.......
