No no No NO!!
This is not a "how do you . . ." sort of question, so please relax, put down
your manuals, and take a deep breath.
Let me be superficial for just a moment. . .
I was wondering something that I'll bet some of you are afraid to admit
having thought yourselves: I was wondering if there are any interesting
fixed-width fonts that we developers can get our hands on?! Fixed-width
fonts for the NON-aesthetically impaired?
Ok. I concede that there may be some of you with, er, ummm, "unusual" erotic
attachments to the good ol' Courier workhorse (or (*gag*) Lucida Console!),
and maybe some of you (*gasp!*) don't mind not being able to line up EVERY
LAST CHARACTER of your code in truly impressive anal-retentive fashion-but
*I* do.
I admit it.
I want to eat my cake and have it, too.
I want a sexy, interesting, legible font-and since I generally stare at the
damn thing for 10-12 hours a day (or more), I don't think I'm asking for
anything unreasonable. I want my fonts to thrill me AND to line the f*$^ up!
And I want (like every good, proud, spoiled, and whiny american) CHOICES!
So . . . do any of you have leads on downloadable, interesting, fixed-width
fonts for the mal-adapted anal retentive control freak?
