I've read the documentation on the new Locking Settings in the Administrator for CF 4.5.1., but I'm having trouble understanding them. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm from Indiana (a joke), but I have three questions: 1). In CF 4.0.1, I would put a CFLock tag around all server, application, and session variables anytime I read or wrote to them with the TYPE="Exclusive" when writing to them and "ReadOnly" when only reading them. Do I still need to use the CFLOCK tag in my code? 2). What should I set the administrator settings to? 3). Should I check the "Single Threaded Sessions" feature in the Administrator? Won't this slow down performance?? I'm not in a clustered environment, single machine - dual Pentium III processors, NT Server 4.0, etc. Any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated!!!!
