ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Robi Sen is the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Software
Development at Granularity, Inc. (www.granularity.net)

Mr. Sen's chief areas of interest are in the creation of a new breed of
network-based applications in which he is currently pursuing several
patents. He is dedicated to creating systems which allow users to work and
communicate between various operating systems and software applications
seamlessly and intuitively. His second major interest is in the development
of "Intelligent Agents" or software systems which can interact with humans
and other machines in a "thoughtful manner" making context appropriate
decisions for their user without having to receive instructions from their
user. He has spoken widely on these topics and has most recently presented a
series of classes to the American Management Association entitled Electronic
Commerce and has been asked to lead two more classes specifically about the
technical aspects of implementing Electronic Commerce solutions and Emerging

for the last 13 years since he was recruited at the age of 16 to develop
software systems for Westinghouse Hanford Co and the Defense Department. He
worked for Westinghouse and various government programs on and off for 5
years and worked on such projects as Space Power 100 (SP-100), Westinghouse
Financial Management System where he was the lead designer for
Westinghouse's payroll and Financial system, and Waste Receiving and
Processing (WRAP) where he developed new technologies for the safe
exploration of waste vessels.

As the Senior Aviation Engineer at Scion Aviation, Mr. Sen helped develop
various Process Logic Control systems (PLC) for aircraft and wrote software
to manage them. He also worked on several technologies which where later
patented by Scion Aviation. Mr. Sen also worked for Anis Inc., where he
became the Director of Emerging Technologies and lead their development and
implementation of various Electronic Commerce Initiatives.

Additionally, Mr. Sen also speaks around the country to various groups
ranging from university Computer Science departments, professional
organizations, and to members of the Government's Commerce Department. He
also teaches a ongoing class at Colorado State University in Chinese Martial
Arts.
