Jason,

While I don't know what "Mabry socketx" is/are, it shouldn't really
matter.

I don't see your problem.

The fact that you are using DUN only means that you need to "setup" your
TCP/IP connection properly.

After that, the communication is standard TCP/IP messages. The way you
want to implement the hand-shaking between the two computers (whether
client/server or server/server) is not affected in anyway by your use of
DUN. Equally, the nature of the data transmitted (text vs. binary) also
is academic to the process.

I am using the NT vpn software - it uses a DUN setting ... we can
connect at
startup, or manually... that isn't as big an issues as targeting the vpn
and
streaming data through it.

Basically I create a packet, need to pipe the packet down the vpn to the
remote server.... Wait for the reply, then based on the reply, either
send
more data or close the connection and continue with the template. I am
trying to use Mabry socketx to talk between the servers....

Basically it would be like a financial transaction.... Send packet for
authorization... wait for response... good or bad... then react to the
response.

Any ideas??? What are you using to communicate between the servers? We
are
only sending flat text files, no binary data... just text...

Thanks
