Dang!
That's a bit puzzling. It seems to me that remote development is going to become more
and more prevalent...and they might want to consider how to assist that change.
What it REALLY seems is (even before your post...'cause why else would it have
changed?) that *someone* (high up somewhere?) was reading an article about usability
and read "minimize
buttons on a page" and decided to blindly implement it!
Can't you just hear it?
"We need to reduce the number of tabs by 1. It's for better usability. The less
tabs, the better a product sells."
Believe me, in my rather-brief life as a real person (e.g. in the real work force)
I've seen it far too much!
Let's hope it's not true at Allaire.
