OK, in our discussion last week, we established that if you're trying to use session variables in a cluster environment, you can restrict a user's session to a single machine. I assume there is a method (I haven't researched this yet) that you can get an output of all open sessions (I want to write a script that tells me who is online at any give time.) Is there a way to access from one script all session variables open on all machines in a cluster at one time? I think only session variables will allow me to get the read out that I want ... but it seems like it would be impossible over clustered servers, unless I'm missing something ...
