Yes, I'm using it in Windows98. But since Ican't get it to do anything
but its major strength - hanging and crashing - I still use Studio4.0.1.
But I'd like to be able to use all the neat features they showed us in the
fraudulent demo - the zipping up stretches of code, the one-click
deployment, etc etc. But I CERTAINLY wouldn't allow any of my clients to
spend money on it. Not till I've seen a copy actually perform outside of
the marketing hype sessions where most things are cheats (sorry ..
simulations) anyway.

And my opinion of Allaire is that they don't see Studio as an important
part of Cold Fusion - just a necessary evil to lure developers into giving
CF the nod. I think they really hope we'll all use something else to
develop on so they dont have to waste their time on it any more.

I wish I could be convinced otherwise, but based on what I've read and
heard, they didn't care about bugs the beta testers found -released studio
anyway, they didnt listen to the beta testers about improvements, and they
put scant resources into fixing problems like mine. I'm not alone either.
I have two developers with me, who also say that in their previous
companies, the studio was a joke.

Frankly Studio is a huge flaw in the ColdFusion solution, but one it
wouldn't take all that much work for fix.
