I found the article by searching the knowledge base.
The article addresses loss of data problems with Studio 4.5.1. That wasn't
my problem with Studio. My problem was an inability to save files without
freezing.

But I figured, what the heck, installing this upgrade is better than digging
out my credit card and calling Allaire Support -- since I was unable to get
any help through the Forums (I don't trust their whole -- give us $75 bucks
and if its a bug we'll refund the money policy -- tell me if it's a bug
first and if not, we discuss whether I need paid support).
