I haven't had any problems with memory leak issues, though I did finally get
the OLE DB to work. I did find an error with a number field I am gonna look
up tommorrow. How can you not pass a username and password? I really need to
get it to work becuase moving the database over to SQL really isn't an
option it's over 100GB so there is no way I am gonna get good performance if
I move it over to SQL. I am using a conjuction of AS/400 and SQL to do my
username and password, the SQL has the username and password in there. I
haven't noticed any performance issue when moving up to OLE DB, is it even
supposed to have a performance increase or is it just the same.

Robert,
Client Access is a miserable software, it is not meant
to run on a Multiuser Odbc platform and using OLE DB , it wont
allow you to pass username and password etc.
The latest release of client Access v5 and all the latest Patch
still does not address Memory leak Issues

However, Ibm says Client Express will resolve these issues.
I am getting ready to test, will have the software in a week
or so. I also tried DB2 Connect, havent got it work either.

Sound like this whole IBM stuff sucks.

If you want email me sometime next week. we might have a solution
or DataMirror AS400 Db2 to sql Server which is really fast and
resolves all the problems, but
AS400 geeks dont want to do it

Has anyone been successful in using Client Access OLE DB drivers
provided with Client Access with ColdFusion. Please respond if
you have.
