I have the following versions of software. Windows 2000 Professional ColdFusion Studio 4.5a WS_FTP Professional 4.51 I'm trying to access my html pages on my ISP's site with Allaire's ColdFusion Studio 4.5a. Within the Files tab, I add an "FTP Server". I supply host name, userid, password, etc. When I try to connect, I get the following error. "Unable to connect to the FTP server. No response from server." I determined that the problem is not with my network or pc by installing and configure WS_FTP95 on the same system. I'm able to ftp files to and from my ISP's site. This appears to be a bug in the ColdFusion Studio product. Anyone else experienced the same problem? Anyone have a fix? ******** Just fixed it. ( Thought I would post this anyway for others.) I substituted the host name with it's IP address. It appears that CF Studio was not able to resolve the host name to it's IP address. I don't know why because the FTP clients, WS_FTP95 and Microsoft FTP where able to resolve the host name just fine. I still think this might be a bug, (oops, I mean feature) ;-) Sincerely, Troy -- Troy Simpson | North Carolina State University NCSU Libraries | Campus Box 7111 | Raleigh | North Carolina ph.919.515.3855 | fax.919.515.2972 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archives: http://www.eGroups.com/list/cf-talk To Unsubscribe visit http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_talk or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.
