I'm using my computer name (Win XP & SQL Server 2000). Both local and
(local) didn't work under XP.

HTH,
Chris

BTW, This is the error I get:

Connection verification failed for data source: Content
[]java.sql.SQLException: SQLException occurred in JDBCPool while
attempting
to connect, please check your username, password, URL, and other
connectivity info.
The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: SQLException occurred in
JDBCPool while attempting to connect, please check your username,
password,
URL, and other connectivity info.

Subject: MX Local SQL Server Datasource

OK, I'm stupid (or maybe this is a clever diversion from other less
savory
threads...). I've got a local SQL Server running on my machine as well
as
CFMX. I'm trying to set up a datasource to that SQL Server, I cannot get
it
to connect. What is the SQL Server's Name? I tried Local, I've tried
(local), I've tried MACHINENAME\LOCAL but it just doesn't want to
connect.

Any ideas?
