The only repeatable case of this error we've seen was caused by a jvm.config problem, due to incorrect values being entered in the CF admin. We have seen instances of the error in other rare cases but not been able to isolate a specific cause. Usually, either a reboot, a reinstall of CFMX or - in extreme cases - an O/S reinstall makes the problem go away. I wish I could be more specific and more helpful on this one.
