I'm now using DW for most of my development...I still have Studio open as a
crutch. For the most part it's because DWMX tries to "do too much for me".
If I'm in "code mode" I think you have to be very selective on what things
you would want DW to "assume". For example:

* If I decide to edit a document that's not necessarily within the
current working project. Don't turn off my component or database panel! That
drives me absolutely insane. I think I can handle the responsibility!!
(Understandable for design mode perhaps)
* If I've got DBs open and I'm browsing tables, again don't dismiss
that state if I temporarily jump into another document. Some of us folks
work remotely and/or with large databases that eat precious time when
loading table info.
* I find it a real pain when I need to jump into another directory to
reference another file. I either have to jump to another defined site, or
start drilling my way down from the desktop to reach it...In studio I'm not
locked in. Perhaps this "defined site" setting could be a little more
flexible...or even toggled? Better yet how about a file browser panel? And
since you can totally customize you can add multiple!
* For the love of god I can't shrink the font down! :-) It's either
default...or so small you can't see it...I believe it's a known
issue...seems there's a font size missing in comparison to Studio.
* I find the reference table is cumbersome. Requires more effort to
get what you need.
* If I cloak something, how about hiding the darn thing? A good
example is when you're using source control. We use CVS which inserts a CVS
folder in every directory which I'd like to cloak when I'm working...having
a red line thru it makes it more distracting...Not sure I see the use!
* If you have 15+ files open and you hit CTRL-W a whole bunch of times
in a row....all the files close the DW crashes. (No biggie, just thought I'd
mention it)
* No function insight on CFCs by default? I'm in the midst of figuring
out how to add it....no luck yet

It may not sound like it but I do like the product very much...just needs a
few adjustments. (The panel customization features are amazing)

Thanks for listening...
