This is what we were worried about from the beginning. Will we have to wait
for new compiled modules for every release of Apache? :(

There's gotta be another way...

In the meantime, if you're running 2.0.39 on Windows, just add the
RedirectMatch directive to httpd.conf as described on the Apache HTTPD home
page (http://httpd.apache.org/).
