You can do this in CF 5 using the connectionstring attribue of CFQUERY and a dbtype value of "dynamic". However, this functionality has been removed in CFMX. Of course, when you say "no matter what machine" you mean, no matter what 'cf server' you are on - right?

I was wondering how I could access the DB (its an SQL 7 DB) in the query tag, so that no matter what machine I am on, I can run the script properly and access the DB.
