I did a little searchin' in the Allaire forums and came up with an
interesting post about this subject:

This explains how to generate the certificate for the SSL link to the
Novell LDAP server.
You also may want to search for "LDAP" at:
http://developer.novell.com/research/index.htm
If you can get through the 'novell-speak' there's some pretty good articles
here on a variety of LDAP issues - although nothing specific to CF.
