1. This list is for technical talk regarding ColdFusion. A limited amount of OT conversation is allowed when it comes to things related such as JavaScript, OS, hardware and the like. If a topic is not tech related or related to the list itself, then it should be sent to CF-Community. 2. The many users of this list are spread out across the entire world. We have people from Pakistan, China, Australia, South Africa, Netherlands and many other countries in addition to America. An alert such as the Amber alert is one that is specific to a state in America and is of no use to many people on this list. No use in the case that they can not help at all. 3. I really (really, really) hate being a traffic cop here but when some posts get off topic and eclipse the technical talk, then I have to. I DO NOT want to have such topic automatically shunted over to CF-Community. They should end on their own. Thank you for your understanding in this. With your help we can keep this list as the powerful locus of technical information that it has been in the past.
