Hi,

I had this happen on our box as well. It loses connection as soon as a
cfm page is attempted to be served.

For me it only started happening after 1 of 2 things:

a) We installed .NET FrameWork
b) SP3

We are not sure which. Our MX installation was working fine. Then I
installed .NET framework and didn't bother to check the server (it was a
test server)...then when SP3 came out a day later, assuming that the box
was working, I installed SP3. And lo and behold...this caused the
problem.

I tried *EVERYTHING* to solve the problem including uninstalling .NET,
SP3, IIS, Reinstall CFMX etc., but no luck. So I wiped the system
again, installed all patches including SP3 (not .NET), installed CFMX
and we were back in business.

Sorry I don't have a more "fix it" solution... :) And I have yet to try
NET with CFMX yet...but that's my next test.
