CFMX/IIS5

1 - CF continually (about every hour or so) stops responding. The
services are all running. IIS is running, but no pages are being
delivered.

2 - Restarting CF "typically" cures the problem. But not always.
Sometimes a full restart of IIS and CF must be done.

3 - On occasion, the sites will come up with their home pages, but any
subsequent calls to CF tempates results in 404's, even tho the pages are
there. Restarting both CF and IIS at that point is required to get it
to come back.

This server has been running flawlessly, without any changes or
modifications being made. Suddenly, just since last night late, the
server will simply not stay running. Unfortunately, CF has NEVER been
able to restart itself when pages stop coming up, no matter what. So my
outside script runs, and notifies me when the sites become unresponsive.
But it's impotent, since it basically just wakes us all up to say it's
dead... So we can manually restart it.

This is insane. If we restart CF, IIS stops responding for a while. If
we restart IIS, CFMX breaks on occasion. And now, restarting both
doesn't seem to cure the problem all the time.

I think it's time to go back to CF5. Anyone have any clues?? The
default log files are filled with "Connection reset by peer" errors, and
then at the end, a series of "active thread" errors, saying we might
want to increase the number of them. Searches for any of this stuff on
the MM site is useless, as it returns 100's of articles about everything
BUT the latest version. All 4, 4.5 and 5. But nothing relevant.

Help?? Anyone??? PLEASE???
