Perhaps you should consider submitting a proposal to speak at the 2003 MX Downunder Developer Conference? --[ IMPORTANT DATES Submissions are due by: 30th September 2002 Notification will be sent by: 21st October 2002 Email your proposal to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --[ SPEAKERS Candidates are expected to deliver a fifty-minute technical presentation. Speakers selected to present will receive industry recognition, have his/her presentation published in the conference proceedings, and receive a complimentary conference pass. Topics may cover a wide range of subjects that engage the subjects listed below. Keep in mind that conference attendees expect to enhance their Macromedia product development and deployment skills by learning new or unique technical solutions, tips, and techniques. Remember that the conference is a technical and training event that attracts both beginners and advanced Macromedia product users. Vendor specific proposals and sales/marketing pitches will *not* be accepted. Suggested Topic Areas Include: - OO Flash Development - Application Security - Java & J2EE Integration - Web Services - XML, XPATH & XSLT - Flash Remoting - CFMX Components - Flash Communications Server - Flash For Devices - Application Performance Tuning (platform specific) - Best Practices Development Methodology - Customer or Application Case Study - etc etc Just about anything to do with MX application development will be considered. --[ SUBMISSIONS Applications must be received by 30-Sep-2002. If your topic is selected for presentation at the conference, you will be notified by 21-Oct-2002. At that time, you will be asked to enter into an agreement that defines your responsibilities and establishes your deadlines. The following information MUST accompany your submission: 1. Presenter name, title, company, address, email, phone, and fax. 2. Brief presenter biography, including history of speaking experience. 3. Proposed session title 4. Session description 5. Session format 6. Indicate if proposed session is for the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level. Or indicate that the session is suitable for all audiences. 7. Any prerequisite knowledge the audience must have prior to your presentation. 8. Any special requirements for your presentation.
