I have been using email addresses as login names on our website for over a
year, and technically there have been no problems; however, we have had
problems with users who change their email addresses and then try to log in
using their NEW email addresses instead of the ones we already have in our
database. We have provided a form for users to update all their info on
file, but people still just don't get that they have to use their OLD email
address until they have updated their info in our system. So be aware of
that if you are planning to use emails as login names.

I am thinking of modifying my membership application pages to my website =
so that the users login name is their email address that way there will =
never be an issue of two people trying to use the same user name=20
=20
does anyone see some pitfalls or limitations in taking this approach=20
