I consider myself a developer or programmer (I'd prefer developer). I don't administrate or configure the server. Ben usually puts out an Advance CF book. But even in Ben's Advanced books, I can only find maybe 4 or 5 good, or better yet useful, chapters the other chapters seems to be more useful to CF administrators.
I know that it's alot of work putting those books together. But if you are going to go through the trouble of writing the book, get the first step right - gather user requirements. Setup a website like the "homesite" questionairre so that us some what experienced developers can at least have some voice about the book's outline, and maybe even contribute a technique or practice or two. Matt I like your comments here and I look forward to the book. I really hope it hits the mark. I getting tired of the fluffy stuff.
