I don't know about the centering issue, but to my knowledge the only
menu system to effectively overcome the drop-down issue is Milonic
menus, and it took a lot of sleight of hand to get the trick
accomplished.  Its not the menu program's fault.  An explanation of the

Note this faq item predates the fix it states is impossible.

Hello all

I'm using this tag for my popup menu and submenu but having a few
problems.
When the popup menu occurs where there is a drop down menu, the drop
down
appears on top of the popup menu.  Its works fine over other form
elements.
Also, my page is set to center, and depending on the user's screen
resolution, the position of the menu varies.  Does this tag work for
something like that or does the menu have to be fixed on the left side
of
the browser window?
