I FINALLY found the problem. I don't know why it was generating that error, but there was an image src which had "#Application.sslPath#images/clearpix.gif", but there was no cfoutput around it, so it wasn't processing the variable. I'm not sure why that threw a CF error, but putting it within cfoutputs took care of the problem.
