Hi. I have a series of pages, each of which points to an offsite link. These external sites vary in location and nature. In order to track usage of these sites, I am passing users through an exit page. On this exit page, I pull the external URL from a database and stick it in a CFLOCATION statement.
Sometimes this works, and sometimes I get a "page could not be found"/404 error. I am sure that this is not to do with the exit page's placement: if I remove it, I get an entirely different error. So I am sure that the exit page is being loaded. To make things stranger: if I paste the URL (pulled by the exit page) directly into a browser, it works fine. Or, if I use CFHEADER instead of CFLOCATION, it works fine. Anyone know of any reason why CFLOCATION should fail when pointing offsite?
