Adam,
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\ColdFusion Studio 5 Help\Developing_ColdFusion_Applications\indexSearch7.html Your example is sort of available in SIMPLE type searches. Your example is slightly flawed as CFSearch will assume, because you have no commas or logical operators, that it is a phrase. "tree AND NOT oak" will work fine. Hope this helps Regards Stephen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adam Reynolds" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, September 27, 2002 2:35 PM Subject: RE: Verity > This doesn't give me information I need. > > Say I want to pass in the search criteria > > tree NOT oak > > To avoid getting any documents that mention oak. > > It is this type of clever stuff I am interested in.
