Without diluting your glory, can I add a similar thing with CF 4.5.1? The
server itself?
We did an upgrade at the weekend of a CF4 machine with Spectra on it.
Fortunately a development machine but it did have a working Spectra site on
it. You can go from CF4 to 4.5 quite happily without disturbing anything
but when we applied the 4.5.1 patch we got a complaint that we were not
running the correct version of CF server! We had to do the same as you,
partly, trash all sign of CF, then do a straight 4.5 install and then 4.5.1
went happily over that. Not a major hassle in itself, except that now the
Spectra install had vanished so we had to reinstall, put the applications
back in, etc., etc....
Oh, and we are still using Studio 4.0.1, maybe we can upgrade now :-)
