Use the coldfusion.server.ServiceFactory: http://spike.oli.tudelft.nl/jochemd/index.cfm?PageID=12 You can verify all the information about the datasources and you can even change it, if you don't mind the settings not being documented. It should also be possible to do so by editing the XML files, but that would require a restart after every change.
