IMHO, how people interact on public mailing lists is a reflection on themselves and not their employers. I welcome and encourage Macromedia employee participation with CF mailing lists and think they should be individually responsible for their participation. Macromedia should only be responsible for their employees in relation to their official duties.
It seems rather easy to separate official emails from Macromedia sent via employees on these lists from their personal opinion. Sean has done nothing but contribute to the CF community by participating on this list and others. While I may disagree with him and his employer on occasion that doesn't mean I don't appreciate his participation. It is my wish that people on this list would spend less time getting offended by emails sent with the best intentions and more time engaging in technical debates.
