I caught Simon Horwith's CFC presentation at the DC CFUG last night. It's a
great presentation focusing on real-world best practices and would make a
good follow-up to Ben Forta's presentation that many of us saw when Ben was
on the CFUG tour this spring/summer. Simon should be doing the presentation
at the DevCon.

In the presentation he talked about finding a good book to review OOP object
modeling concepts before embarking on designing a site with CFCs. Sounds
like a good idea to me. I recently started specing out a site in MX and
recognize that I'm still looking at the process from a "UDF and custom tag"
perspective. No reason to shoe-horn CFCs into an app when they could be the
center.

So who has a good book to recommend? I'm looking for a book that uses broad
concepts that can be implemented in CFMX, so something like Object Modeling
for Visual Basic would contain a lot of info I just wouldn't need.

I was planning on sending this request to the Fig Leaf crew, but instead
thought I'd open it out to the group.

Thanks,

Don
