One of my clients sites is oddly near a 60/40 between IE and NS - I was surprised NS was that high. This on a site that brings in about 35k unique visitors per week
I don't know though - on first download and testing of NS 7 - it seems to actually finally offer everything NS 6 was supposed to. On developing a new site- I barely had any browser compatible tweaking to do for NS 7 and IE - even CSS and all. If marketed right - maybe it has a chance of peaking a bit more. Sorry if went a little too off topic - the pages I was designing are all cfm pages- hopefully that makes it relevant enough *grin jay miller Steve Green wrote: >A site i visit regular for forums and stuff (non developer) published their >monthly stats recently. > >Something like 94% IE .. 6% Other. > >I was amazed IE was that high. > >SteG. > >-----Original Message----- >From: Srimanta [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] >Sent: 10 October 2002 00:50 >To: CF-Talk >Subject: OT: Browser Usage > > >Hi All, > >Does any one know what percentage of users use/ prefer >Netscape 4.5 or 6 over IE. > >Thanks > ><S> > > > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_talk FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
