If you use CFMX, you can use java imaging libraries, it will be cleaner than a CFX : - JAI, (example at http://www.evolt.org/article/Image_Manipulation_with_CFMX_and_JAI/18/33907/) , - ImageJ (example at http://www.benorama.com/coldfusion/libraries/imaging.htm).
