I was recently reading an article on webmonkey.com on CFMX. In the article the author (Jon Block) stated that this list was a must for any CF developer at any level. The banter of ther last few days (in some ways fanned by DevCon) turned me off a little, but after reading through the 300+ posts today I've seen A) the OT blossom, blasted, and explained, and B) some good code. Thanks to those who've sent me messages on and off list, as well as a better understanding of the atmosphere, I think I'll stick around and learn something. Maybe even throw in my 2 cents to help someone out if I can.
