Ok Robert, look particularly in the Application and Server logs and look for
"Unexpected exception" and the word "Thread" or "Threading". Those strings
typically point to shared scope variable issues or a need for locking
Application, Server and Session vars using <cflock>.

I'm looking at the logs now, we're on CF 5 and Win2K.

Thanks!

Subject: Server Hanging

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Macromedia document that outlines best
practices for the CF Administrator - like actual setting numbers? Our server
is hanging, our admin is on vacation, and I'm trying to see what my steps
should be for troubleshooting and if tweaking the CF Admin would help.

Thanks,
Rob
