Simply don't respond to them or respond off list.
I hate to "repeat" myself here. But guys, really. We're all adults and
capable of conducting ourselves as adults, I would sincerely hope.
So simply do not respond on the list... Period. It's simple,
self-regulating, and not censorship in any form -- save one's own
censorship of one's own actions -- the truest form of freedom. Also, it
doesn't require someone spending their precious time coding stuff for a
list that can't seem to regulate itself. (The idea is simple, clean and
quite wonderful! I just don't think it should NEED to be done.)
I hate to say this.. But the very need for this thread indicates highly
that Michael needs to simply make any and all discussions about issues
not directly technical in nature, off topic. Period. Relieves pressure
from Michael, and makes certain we can all enjoy the list without anyone
whining that it's gotten off-topic.
Exercise your right to keep quiet -- or at least keep quiet on the list.
It's your list too! Control it! Michael should not have to be the bad
guy here -- like a parent watching over a schoolyard of bickering
children.
Please.. It's simple.. Just don't say anything on the list.
Those of us who cannot control ourselves will be obvious, and once it
gets off-topic, Michael simply kills the thread or moves it to
CF-Community. No ifs, ands or buts. Rule is the rule. If it's not
technical.. Hasta la bye-bye! Learn it - Know it - Live it.

Just make sure you send it to me off-list, cuz I won't respond here.
However, I'll be happy to discuss it with you, if you like. Maybe I'm
wrong? Who knows... It's happened before.
