I wouldn't normally post this here but I find it tough getting answers on
the Figleaf lists for Flash (Out of approx 20 posts on various topics I've
had responses on 1). Perhaps I'm spoiled by this list (and FB lists) I don't
know...or maybe there's a secret handshake required before posting any
questions to the Figleaf lists. :-)
Another possibility is that I'm so out to lunch on the questions that no one
knows what the heck I'm referring to. LOL
All joking aside, I guess peeps are just busy...understandable. Appreciate
if anyone can offer insight on this:
For some reason I'm unable to set a datagrid changehandler from the main
timeline. (with the datagrid inside another movieclip). Formatting
operations appear to work just fine:
myMovieClip.myGrid.getColumnAt(0).setWidth(155);
myMovieClip.myGrid.getColumnAt(1).setWidth(175);
myMovieClip.myGrid.setRowHeight(20);
but THIS has no effect...
myMovieClip.myGrid.setChangeHandler("editAgent");
When I move this statement (along with the associated "editAgent" function)
within the
myMovieClip and reference directly...
myGrid.setChangeHandler("editAgent");
It works just fine...
any ideas?
