Not to argue with Ben, but I don't think that PreserveSingleQuotes() is the answer... That function prevents CF from automatically esacping single quotes (in this case you WANT CF to escape them for you). One thought however: is this sample representative of the size of your data? Any chance that it's larger than the others that came before? It's quite a bit of data - what kind of field are you putting it into?
