Just reading 'Reality ColdFusion MX: Intranets and Content Management', came across this curious bit:
"Notice that Toshi builds this list by creating it as a string, not a list, since Macromedia now recommends that you avoid listAppend() and listPrepend() if possible." (p. 231) Is this true? Why so? Did I miss a meeting?! I can't find any reference to this on the MM site or anywhere else. Seems like an odd way for MM to sneak in what would be quite an impactful recommendation - and not give any reasoning.
