Hi, I've installed CFMX (upgrade from 5) and can not connect to the Oracle 8.1.7 database using the native cold fusion driver, OCI, or the thin type. The error is:
Connection verification failed for data source: admin_dept_dba []java.sql.SQLException: SQLException occurred in JDBCPool while attempting to connect, please check your username, password, URL, and other connectivity info. So my questions are: 1. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for connecting to Oracle 2. Is there a recommendation for using Native, OCI or thin?
