I know it's not a great answer but, have you considered creating a tunnel
through the firewall for that port/protocol and then restrict the IP's that
can communicate with the Oracle server.

Subject: Raptor Firewall Oracle, CF and Multi Threading
Hi Guys,
I'm having problems with my apps, oracle and my firewall (Axent Raptor),
basically my firewall won't allow multi-threaded access through on port
1521, (which oracle uses), and therefore i'm kinda stuck with single
threaded apps, which is basically unacceptable. The firewall has a major
known problem that won't allow more than 30 concurrent users access through
SQLNET, with multi-threading, without crashing completely. I guess my
question is; has anyone previously run up against this problem and are there
any work arounds??
Thanks
Stew
