Using CFEXECUTE to send mail would be somewhat kludgey, IMHO. You may want to have a look at iMS-SE as a CFMAIL replacement. iMS-SE is a high-performance mail sending engine that comes with a CFX tag that makes ColdFusion integration simple. iMS-SE also has several feature enhancement over CFMAIL including real-time delivery status and email boounce processing. FYI - iMS is the mail sending engine behind all of the House of Fusion email lists. A comparison between iMS-SE and other CFMAIL replacements is available here:
