I just set this up...you will need to use mapped drives over the network.  yup, 
slower, has a layer or two more to work with then RDS.  It helps a little to use the 
IP of the server in your mapping.  Also, using CFstudio to check in/out just sucks 
over the network.  Better to use VSS Client to do this.
