The Allaire article that you reference only describes how to access character based 
LOB's.
I'm using the BLOB to store photographs in a *.jpeg format.
Does anyone have any experience on how to take a photograph that is stored in an 
Oracle database as a BLOB and display it to the user in his/her browser?
